Our folding doors, entirely designed and developed in our industrial plant, are supplied with a series of side frames and without ground guides, to ensure optimal sliding, minimum occupied space and very low maintenance needs.

The leaves of the folding doors, with a total thickness of 52mm, have completely smooth surfaces, with no visible joints or welding points; the leaves are composed of an internal perimeter frame formed by special 20/10 thickness Sendzimir galvanized steel profiles, while the external surface coating is designed in 8/10 thickness smooth sheet metal, first hot-dip galvanized and later subjected to further treatments: phosphating, coating with epoxy primer and finishing with oven-dried polyester resins.
Iridium is proud to pay particular attention to the environment, and this why the internal insulation of our folding doors is developed with chloroflorocarbons-free (CFC-free) polyurethane foam.
We also care deeply about the safety of our customers, and therefore our folding doors are fully compliant with all European standards concerning technical doors (UNI 8612); special gaskets in anti-aging EPDM are applied in-between the door leaves (distanced by a 50mm space), designed to avoid the cutting of fingers and, at the same time, to guarantee maximum watertightness against adverse weather conditions.
The large two-wing hinges, adjustable in height, are developed in black coated aluminium; furthermore, they feature double thrust bearings, a 20mm-diameter steel pin and an internal grease nipple to allow the bearings and pin to be lubricated.
The upper guide track consists of a 30/10 thickness galvanized sheet metal profile, and allows for movement of the trolleys, developed in black coated steel and featuring three Nylon wheels assembled on ball bearings which guarantee particularly light and noiseless movement.
