TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The Scorpio sectional door is characterised by a vertical sliding mechanism on special side guides, which is positioned under the garage ceiling and parallel to the floor with the use of torsion springs. IRIDIUM DOORS are made of galvanised and pre-painted double-walled steel panels with polyurethane foam in between. They guarantee high thermal insulation, protection against burglary and a particularly lightweight and quiet functioning, guaranteed by a system of continuous guides from the floor to the stop position. Weather- and UV-resistant EPDM rubber perimeter seals play a key role in our sectional doors. These seals effectively protect against the weather and ensure that the closure is airtight, also in the presence of strong winds. Furthermore, thanks to the use of anti-pinch joints, we have eliminated the risk of accidents during manual opening and closing. In the case of automatic motorisation, the system includes all the safety devices required by law.
The IRIDIUM DOORS residential sectional doors are made of sandwich panels in pre-painted steel sheet, embossed finish and 38 - 40 kg/m3 insulation (CFC-free insulation), with an overall thickness of 40 mm. Counterbalance with springs and conformation of the mounting panel (visible internal hinges). Completed with spring break safety guard (cable guard available as an option). Lifting handle, pull cord and internal deadbolt. Ready for lateral motorisation (upon request)
IRIDIUM DOORS offers a selection of real wood panels to enhance your door with finishes in: poplar, fir, beech, larch, maple, oak. If you also need the uprights and/or top sill, their size must also be included when calculating the square metres of cladding.
Panel made of aluminium profiles with anodised or RAL painted finish (upon request) and finned / glazed / grilled sections. The standard height of the panel is 500 mm, modifiable according to the conformation and overall height of the door. The sections that make up the single panel normally measure between 750 mm and 1000 mm in number proportional to the width of the sectional door. Upon request and subject to feasibility analysis, different conformations to those described above may be evaluated.

Choose the colour and finish of the sectional door that best matches the style of your home and other windows and doors. Panels are available in an embossed stucco, woodgrain, smooth or micro-diamond finish; choose the design that best suits the style of your home and your taste.
All finishes include STANDARD painting of the panels with paints suitable for outdoor use. Different finishes, special paints or any lacquering will be quoted. In the event that uprights and/or top panels are also required, their size must also be taken into account when calculating the square metres of cladding.
Regarding the colour range, the standard colour palette is flanked by a wide range of Ral colours that IRIDIUM DOORS supplies in a very short time, managing the painting process independently and making your sectional garage door unique.
Sectional garage doors made with panels consisting of an aluminium frame and infilled with transparent polycarbonate insulating glazing or with grilles or horizontal slats. All these solutions guarantee the passage of light and the ventilation of rooms when required by regulations, without penalising the aesthetics of the product.
Sectional doors can be requested with a one-or two-leaf pedestrian door, or integrated into the door structure, inserted inside the door with a skirting or with a lowered threshold.
The Scorpio sectional door can be ordered with special panelling such as in Corten.
