Fire doors are an ideal solution for ensuring building safety, combining high performance and elegant design. Manufactured to the most stringent standards, REI fire doors offer fire resistance for internal compartmentalization, in compliance with the UNI 9723 standard. They feature an insulated mineral wool pack and can be customized with various accessories and frames depending on the intended use and specific application.

The production of REI fire doors is carried out using modern and functional equipment using the most advanced construction technologies. This ensures consistent quality and high standards.

Our doors comply with current safety and fire protection regulations. They offer fire resistance compliant with UNI 9723, lasting protection in the event of a fire (REI 60), and REI 120 for single- and double-leaf doors. The coating is designed to resist wear and tear while maintaining an impeccable aesthetic appearance.

These doors also offer excellent sound insulation (acoustic performance - EN 14351-1 to be requested as an additional feature).

REI fire doors are particularly robust, ensuring reliable functionality and durability. They are constructed entirely of hot-dip galvanized sheet metal using the "Sendzimir" process, even on hidden parts. This ensures corrosion protection even on the cut edges of the sheet metal.

The door is coated with epoxy-polyester powders, oven-hardened at 180°C, with a considerable paint layer thickness exceeding 70 microns. It has demonstrated excellent corrosion resistance in 500-hour salt spray tests and stability under severe climate changes, proven by 2,000-hour tests with cycles from +60°C to -10°C and 75% humidity.

COMPLIANCE WITH REGULATIONS

Each model is laboratory tested to ensure resistance to high temperatures without compromising performance. Testing includes fire tests according to UNI 9723 and EN 1634-1 standards, as well as mechanical tests for CE marking of accessories.
Strict product checks are performed to ensure compliance with the declared characteristics, guaranteeing absolute functionality over time.

The door is "Approved" in compliance with the Ministerial Decree of 21 June 2004 and is delivered with all the documentation required by current legal provisions.

The REI sliding doors, offered by IRIDIUM DOORS, comply with the European standard EN 1634-1 and can be made, according to the customer's requests, in different fire resistance classes (from REI 10 to REI 120).

The sliding doors are equipped, in the standard configuration, with a combination of counterweight and 70°C thermal fuse to allow the door leaf to be closed from any position.

The hinges include two three-leaf hinges for each door leaf:
a load-bearing hinge, equipped with thrust bearings and screws for vertical adjustment of the door leaf, CE marked according to EN 1935 and rated for a load capacity of up to 160 kg with a durability of 200,000 cycles, suitable for use on fire doors, and a spring-loaded hinge for self-closing of the door leaf.

The lock is reversible, equipped with a latch and central deadbolt, CE marked compliant with the EN 12209 standard, with an insert for a patent key and predisposition for a European-type cylinder.

The double-leaf doors include the RC/STD closing regulator as standard to ensure the correct closing sequence of the leaves, except those with specific environmental characteristics that require the RC2 system, CE marked compliant with the EN 1158 standard.

CUSTOMIZATIONS

The door features a high-quality aesthetic finish and a scratch-resistant, textured paint finish. The design is customizable: the doors are available in various finishes and styles, allowing them to adapt to any architectural context without compromising functionality. A fully insulated frame is available upon request for a truly "dry" installation of the door.

The finishes can be customized with stainless steel handles and colored handles. The standard handle is made of black plastic with a steel core, the base plate is made of steel, and the cover plate is made of black plastic.

The door's appearance is customizable: you can choose a color from the wide RAL range for the paint finish.
Various types of applications are possible, all rigorously certified and approved. REI doors can be made as panic exit doors or emergency exit doors. They can also be designed to meet certain environmental requirements, such as air permeability (EN 1026); thermal transmittance (EN 10077-1); water tightness (EN 1027); and wind load resistance (EN 12211).
