Quick Pack Technology: Fast opening and closing, reduces downtime and increases productivity
Thermal insulation and energy protection: Improves temperature control and reduces energy loss
Low maintenance: Low-maintenance design ensures durability and reduces operating costs
THE PROJECT
IRIDIUM DOORS collaborated with a test and maintenance centre for trains and locomotives. The client needed reliable and high-performing solutions capable of providing a quick and safe access to its operational areas, optimising workflows and improving the management of maintenance activities.
To meet these needs, IRIDIUM DOORS supplied and installed Gemma, non- counterweighted high-speed doors, designed to offer maximum efficiency and resistance. Thanks to their technology, these doors allow rapid opening and closing, reducing waiting time and improving operational productivity.
Gemma doors are made of robust materials, ideal for industrial environments. The standard model has a 680 g/m² tarpaulin with two rectangular windows, and a galvanised steel frame, which ensures solidity. The handling system ensures quick and silent opening and closing, optimising internal logistical flows.
The installation of the Gemma doors has improved efficiency in railway maintenance, thanks to their rapid opening and closing, optimising temperature control and reducing energy loss. The robustness of the materials has reduced maintenance, increasing reliability and durability. This project confirms IRIDIUM DOORS' commitment in providing tailor-made solutions for the railway and industrial sectors.
