Custom-made design: perfect integration with the architecture
Technical challenge: easy access for large artworks
Aesthetics and security: the perfect balance between design and protection
THE PROJECT
The Ettore Fico Museum in Turin is the result of the redevelopment of a former industrial complex, transformed into a modern and elegant exhibition space. THE PROJECT, curated by Studio Cepernich, is characterised by the contrast between the bright white interior and the black monolith of the entrance, conceived as a dynamic surface for artistic expression.
To ensure functionality and aesthetic harmony with the building, IRIDIUM DOORS installed Andromeda double-leaf industrial doors. These solutions ensure easy access for forklifts and means of transport for the artworks, while maintaining a design consistent with the architecture: a white mantle with a black frame in continuity with the external glazing, while the emergency exits and the internal door are in black to respect the stylistic concept.
The doors were custom-designed to suit the specific requirements of the museum, ensuring security, practicality and a smooth passage even for large works. Attention to detail allowed the doors to be perfectly integrated into the exhibition spaces without compromising aesthetics.
Thanks to the customisation and the synergy with technical studios and architects, IRIDIUM DOORS offers high-performance solutions that fit perfectly into the most demanding contexts. The Andromeda double hinged doors for the Ettore Fico Museum represent a perfect balance between design, functionality and innovation.
