Galvanised shutters incorporate all the characteristics of resistance and durability that are essential for your business. Even in a simple and inexpensive product such as the roller shutter, IRIDIUM DOORS wanted to add its ‘Know How’ by equipping them with ‘anti-noise’ gaskets (side and bottom) and reducing lateral dimensions.
The structure of our roller shutters is characterised by a mantle of elements joined by curved joints and profiles in strong galvanised steel, with standard thicknesses of 8/10 mm or 10/10 mm on specific request. The IRIDIUM DOORS collection can be installed with both internal and external roll-up, with modular overall dimensions. The 100 mm high end element is made of anodised aluminium with a double wall for durability and strength.
The rolling movement takes place around a galvanised steel tube shaft, selected according to the width and weight of the shutter according to standards (diameters: 48 mm, 60 mm, 76 mm and 101 mm, thickness 3 mm). The shutter is attached to pulleys with steel springs, balanced to facilitate both manual and motorised opening. The side guides, made of 20/10 mm galvanised steel, are reinforced and fitted with hard plastic and black EPDM seals for smooth and sealed movement.
The support flags are appropriate for installations in and out of light as they can be regulated from 300x300 mm to 500x500 mm.

In terms of aesthetics, the IRIDIUM DOORS industrial single-sheet metal roller shutters can be customised in a variety of colours and customisations, with compatible and interchangeable accessories.
Maximum discretion with the blind element shutter. The solid elements, with no glazing sections, guarantee privacy and security.
Galvanised steel threaded elements with external drip completely micro-perforated with 3 mm diameter holes. Used extensively for shop closures (storefront), the important feature of this element is that it leaves the possibility of viewing the material on display but also secures the internal window from vandalism. Also widely used if you need to ensure ventilation of around 20%.
It is always advisable to have the elements galvanised and powder-coated to avoid rusting problems, especially when exposed to the atmospheric agents.
Elements consisting of horizontal 18 mm diameter galvanised steel tubes joined by vertical rods with a special slot for inserting the horizontal element.

The functioning mechanism of the roller shutter can be complete with its own motorisation or be automated at a later stage, promptly and at a competitive cost. Through the insertion of different types of elements (micro-perforated or perforated) that are compatible and interchangeable with each other, it is possible to achieve the ventilation required by the client and the regulations in force.
Options available for Industrial Single-Sheet Metal Shutters
The shutter can be upgraded with nylon side retainers or tear proof hooks to achieve class 4 wind resistance. Micro-perforated elements are available for those requiring superior ventilation. The end element, which can be customised with handles and locks, can be reinforced with a galvanised steel omega. It is designed to accommodate a black EPDM gasket, which also functions as an optical rib. Central or side locks are available for manual or power-off functioning.
